Often times we hear the phrase “sowing a seed” and we automatically think about giving money. But sowing is not just financial, sowing can be visiting the sick, giving an encouraging word to someone needing to find their way, or even praying for others.
Serving others is sowing seeds, so we must know that when we are facing difficult times, increasing the number of seeds we sow, will also change the harvest we receive from God. In the book of Kings when the widow thought that she and her son were getting ready to die because she only had enough food for one more meal. She met the Prophet Elijah that gave her instructions to give him the meal and oil first.
When she changed her giving by being obedient to what the Prophet had asked her to do, the bible says she and her household ate for many days. Change your seed, Change your harvest!
